From member ...... I have re-made this to be plan friendly and also to use a crockpot.
- 3 - 3½ lbs skinless, boneless chicken breasts
- 15 oz can nsa tomato sauce
- 6 oz can nsa tomato paste
- 14 oz can nsa chopped tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons vinegar
- 2 tablespoons Splenda
- 1 cup chopped onions
- 1 cup chopped green peppers (see note below)
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
Place all in crockpot, making sure all chicken pieces are coated. Cook 6-8 hours on low setting. Serve over rice.
Note: I have to omit green peppers for hubby so I add 1 teaspoon curry powder in their place.
