From member ......... I have been trying out some of the condiments and have came up with one the I think is amazing so I would like to submit it for others to enjoy. Before getting on the plan my favorite barbeque sauce was the kind you get at Wendy's with Chicken Nuggets. This tastes just like that in my opinion. My wife and daughters agree that this is awesome! They all loved it. Use as a dip or a coating for on the grill.
- 2 (8 oz) cans nsa tomato sauce
- 6 oz can nsa tomato paste
- 3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 3 tablespoons Splenda (or about 4½ packets)
- 2 tablespoons maple extract (I used and artificial one that was on plan; it’s called Mapleine by Crescent)
- 1 tablespoons onion powder
- 1 tablespoons garlic powder
- 8-9 capfuls of Wright's Liquid Smoke
- 2 teaspoons Mrs. Dash Southwest Chipotle Flavor (makes it just a tiny bit spicy)
Mix all the ingredients together in a saucepan, bring to boil and then simmer for 15-20 minutes.
