Note: Although technically allowed, wings are a little bit controversial. They are considered white meat, but the problem is, there is so little meat left after every speck of skin is removed that they are hardly worth the bother. Plus, you need to pull the meat off the bone to measure out your proper serving size. I think a great alternative would be to use this recipe, but to cut chicken breast pieces into 'fingers', and then continue on with the recipe as posted. Easier to measure and no skin pulling!
- 1 lb skinless chicken wings
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 2 teaspoons dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon curry powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 2 teaspoons dried thyme
- ¼ cup balsamic vinegar
Preheat oven to 375º F. Put wings in shallow baking pan, pour vinegar over wings, sprinkle seasoning mixture over wings, turn to coat both sides. Roast for 45 -50 minutes. These are so good!
