6 WBMO - Potato Chips 3

From member ..... These can be done in microwave (I do them at work this way) here ya have to really watch them. But they are a great alternative to normal spuds.

  • 1 to 2 large potatoes, sliced about 1/8-inch thick 
  • 1 to 2 limes 
  • garlic powder 
  • onion powder 
  • black pepper

Lay the potatoes out on a sheet pan-- one with sides on it (BMOS Note: Something like a jelly roll pan might be good.) Squeeze the limes soaking potatoes in juice. Sprinkle seasonings over potatoes and place in oven at 350 until desired crispness.

It is best to take them out when they are still kind of rubbery not quite crisp because as they cool they will crisp up.
