Since I'm working at trying to lose weight I don't get to eat pizza anymore when I do goes straight to my stomach. But I tried the fathead pizza last night.... it was soooo good.
I had bought my cheese from Aldi's. The cheese there has more water content than the regular Polly-o or store brand mozzarella cheese. So for that I added an extra almost quarter cup of almond flour.
I added pepperoni slices , some tomato sauce , which next time I will try paste instead since the sauce made my crust a little soggy but that's okay cuz I used a fork to eat it,( oh the sacrilege. Haha) I also added some cooked mushrooms peppers onions and since I didn't have fresh spinach I had a bag of frozen spinach I cooked a little of that in the pan as well, strained the water out and added that on top and more cheese on top of that.
Also I didn't split the crust like this recipe calls I used the whole thing. I rolled it out between 2 pieces of parchment and made one large pie that I cut into several servings.
